We are booking flu vaccinations

You are eligible to receive a free flu jab if you:

are 65 years of age or over, are pregnant or have one of the following long-term conditions:

Heart problem

Chest complaint, including bronchitis, ephysema or severe asthma

Kidney disease

Lowered immunity due to disease or treatment e.g. cancer treatment

It is best to have the flu vaccination in the autumn before any outbreaks of flu. Remember that you need it every year, so don’t assume you are protected because you had one last year.

Our main clinics are on Saturday 30th September and Saturday 14th October in the mornings. Book your appointment at Reception today!

In accordance with current guidelines from the Royal College of General Practitioners there is no requirement for exclusion from nursery or school for children with infective conjunctivitis unless they are otherwise unwell or you suspect an outbreak of the condition. Infective conjunctivitis in children will usually resolve by itself with appropriate eye care without the need for antibiotic drops.

Young People

We have developed a new section for Young People; your comments and suggestions are welcome.

On-line Services

We are now offering more services on-line, including booking and cancelling appointments and requesting repeat prescriptions.  You can also view various aspects of your medical record including test results, immunisations and recorded allergies. In addition you can also view the coded details of your medical record - please ask at Reception for details.

A new way to get your medicines and appliances

The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service.  It gives you the chance to change how we send your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.

We can send your request electronically to the pharmacy of your choice, where you live, work or shop.

Please contact the surgery for more details and a form to nominate your chosen pharmacy.

Please note that if you have already completed a form at the pharmacy you do not need to complete another.  However, if you haven't and you normally have your prescription sent to a pharmacy you need to complete a form so we can send the prescription electronically.

Take Our Patient Survey

Please take 5 minutes to complete our new Patient Survey which can be found towards the bottom of the front page.  It is also known as the "Friends and Family Test".
