A Level Students Visit
Last week we had 4 A Level Health and Social Care students from St Peter's School visit the practice to learn more about the different roles, and multidisciplinary team working. They met with Dr Donovan, our Care Coordinator Ged, and Assistant Manager Paige. Their teacher has said "Thank you so much. It was a fantastic trip and the students have not stopped talking about it".
Extended Hours Appointments now available!
We now have Minor Illness Nurse appointments available at lunchtimes 12pm-1.30pm. This is to provide better access for those that are unable to attend during usual clinic times. You can book online or by calling 01483 273951 option 1. Our Practice Pharmacist is also running an extra clinic on Tuesday lunchtimes as part of this service. She will be reviewing blood pressures and medications.
WORK FOR US....
As the practice is developing and growing in size we need more staff to support our doctors.
If you would like to work for us please send your CV to email@example.com or pop into Reception.
In accordance with current guidelines from the Royal College of General Practitioners there is no requirement for exclusion from nursery or school for children with infective conjunctivitis unless they are otherwise unwell or you suspect an outbreak of the condition. Infective conjunctivitis in children will usually resolve by itself with appropriate eye care without the need for antibiotic drops.
We have developed a new section for Young People; your comments and suggestions are welcome.
We are now offering more services on-line, including booking and cancelling appointments and requesting repeat prescriptions. You can also view various aspects of your medical record including test results, immunisations and recorded allergies. In addition you can also view the coded details of your medical record - please ask at Reception for details.
A new way to get your medicines and appliances
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how we send your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.
We can send your request electronically to the pharmacy of your choice, where you live, work or shop.
Please contact the surgery for more details and a form to nominate your chosen pharmacy.
Please note that if you have already completed a form at the pharmacy you do not need to complete another. However, if you haven't and you normally have your prescription sent to a pharmacy you need to complete a form so we can send the prescription electronically.
Take Our Patient Survey
Please take 5 minutes to complete our new Patient Survey which can be found towards the bottom of the front page. It is also known as the "Friends and Family Test".
